Ideas and imagination have been the cornerstones of Long Elevator & Machine Co., Inc., since it's beginning in 1929. The founder Edward C. Long had a dream to build a company that manufactured innovative products and provided the highest quality services. E. C. Long, with the help of his son, Warren Long, made his vision a reality through years of hard work and perserverance.

Long Elevator became a company based on customer service and care. The dedication of the Long family has been the driving force of Long Elevator for over sixty-nine years. The company's factory and engineering departments are continuously improving existing products as well as the latest models. The employees of the manufacturing facilities not only produce elevators but work with the management on improvements and new products.

Today everything from elevator cabs and doors to Microprocessor based control systems and SCR solid state motor drives are produced.
